Art 1-1: General Terms and Conditions

The general conditions of sale described below detail the rights and obligations of the company Rootz and its customers in the context of the sale of goods present on the site.

Any service provided by the Rootz company implies the buyer's unreserved acceptance of these general conditions of sale.

Art 1-2: Place an order

You can make a purchase on the website https://www.rootz.shop 7 days a week, 24 hours a day provided that the site is not under maintenance.

To make your purchase:

Choose your item as well as its color and size
Add to cart. Click on the basket at the top left
Log in to your account, create an account for new customers or simply fill out the form
Choose your payment method Choose your delivery method
Check the detailed summary before final validation of your order
Once payment has been made, your order is validated

An email confirming your order will be sent to the address indicated.

Art 1-3: Refusal of order

Rootz reserves the right to refuse a purchase to the customer if it presents a risk, aggression or insult to the company.


Art 2-1: Intellectual property

The products offered for sale are presented in the “Shop” section of our site. Photographs do not enter into the contractual scope. The Rootz company cannot be held responsible if errors are introduced. All texts and images presented on the Rootz company website are reserved, for the entire world, under copyright and intellectual property rights; their reproduction, even partial, is strictly prohibited.

Art 2-2: The price

The “Shop” section of our site indicates prices in euros, all taxes included, excluding shipping costs. The amount of VAT is specified when the customer selects a product and the shipping costs appear on the screen at the end of the selection of the different products by the customer.

Rootz reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. The products ordered are invoiced at the price in effect when the order is placed.

The proposed prices include discounts and rebates that Rootz would be required to grant.

No discount will be granted in the event of early payment.

Art 2-3: Payment terms

Payment for purchases is made either:

-By credit card

Article 2-4: Acceptance of the conditions of sale

Validation of the order by the customer implies acceptance by the latter, without reservation, of these conditions.


The products are offered for sale while stocks last. In the event of ordering a product that has become unavailable, the customer will be informed of this unavailability, as soon as possible, by email.

Rootz undertakes to ship orders received only while stocks last. If an ordered item is unavailable, Rootz undertakes to inform the customer as soon as possible, by email or post. The customer will obtain a refund for the item ordered no later than 30 days from the day the order is validated.


Art 4-1: Validation

The customer validates his order when he activates the “Order” link at the bottom of the page, after having accepted these conditions of sale. Before this validation, the customer is systematically asked to check each of the elements of his order; he can thus correct any errors.

Art 4-2: Order confirmation

Rootz confirms the order by email; this information includes in particular all the elements of the order and the customer's right of withdrawal.

Orders will only be sent after payment has been received.

Art 4-3: Archiving of data

The data recorded by Rootz constitutes proof of the nature, content and date of the order. This is archived by the company Rootz under the legal conditions and deadlines; the customer can access this archiving by contacting customer service.


Art 5-1: Withdrawal period

In accordance with the provision of article L121-20 of the Consumer Code, the buyer has a right of withdrawal on his order. He has 15 days to return without having to provide reasons or pay penalties, with the exception, where applicable, of return costs, in accordance with the provisions of articles L 121 et seq. Beyond this period, any returns will be refused.

Art 5-2: Conditions of withdrawal

This period starts from receipt of the goods. This right is exercised by returning the product, the return costs remaining the responsibility of the consumer. The buyer must make the request on the site or by email. The return of the goods is carried out at the expense and risk of the buyer. The returned items must have been subject to minimal use, that is to say, have been tried on for a few minutes and must not bear any trace of prolonged use.


Art 6-1: Amount

Refunds are made in the same way as your payment method for the order.

When refunding an order made with a discount voucher, the refund amount will be deducted from a percentage value of the discount voucher calculated according to the amount of the refund in relation to the total amount of the order.

Art 6-2: Reimbursement conditions

In accordance with the practice in distance selling, only items returned in their original packaging perfectly intact as they were sold to you will be accepted. Consequently, returns of washed and/or worn clothing will be refused.

All products, except sale products or the subject of a promotional offer, may be subject to a credit, refund or exchange of the same item with a different color and/or size.

Products on sale or the subject of a promotional offer can only be the subject of a credit note.

Art 6-3: Delivery costs

Delivery charges are not refundable.

Art 6-4: Defective products

The customer must notify Rootz of any reservations about the product within 3 days of receipt of the package, failing which Rootz disclaims responsibility for the poor condition of the item.


The products are delivered to the delivery address indicated by the customer during the ordering process.

Art 7-1: Delivery time

The delivery deadline varies depending on the shipping address. It is set at 14 - 21 days max.

Art 7-2: Shipping costs

Shipping costs are fixed and depend solely on the destination of the package. They are offered during this period.

Art 7-3: Customs clearance fees

Customs clearance costs are not covered by Rootz.

Art 7-4: Address error

If the package is returned to us due to "incomplete address", the return costs will then be the responsibility of the customer and directly deducted from the total amount of the order upon reimbursement.

Art 7-5: Processing time

The processing time for a return can vary between 7 and 15 days from receipt.

The customer will be notified by e-mail during processing.

Art 7-6: Return costs

All products returned for an exchange or refund, the return costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

ARTICLE 8: Marketing text and notifications

By entering your phone number at checkout and initiating a purchase, subscribing via our subscription or keyword, you agree that we may send you SMS notifications (for your order, including abandoned cart reminders ) and SMS marketing offers. Marketing text messages will not exceed 4 per month. You can unsubscribe from any further text messages by clicking on the unsubscribe link. Sending text messages or using automations requires that you provide the recipients' phone numbers or names to our importer. We will store and use this data to show you campaign analytics and results, including message delivery status, sent status, and in some cases whether the purchase resulted in a sale. If you decide to use our link shortener in text messages, we will collect information about whether or not the link was clicked and use it to display the results in your analytics. Any other third party services you may decide to use outside the scope of smsbump.com (third party link shortener, GA tracking, etc.) you will be referred to their specific third party policies which you must accept. When sending text messages, we will pass the data to our text message carrier for delivery. Information is only shared with our operator when initiating a marketing campaign. If your recipients no longer wish to receive messages, they should reply to the message with STOP or contact us at the email address hello@rootz-shop.com so that we can successfully unsubscribe them.
